At Delmont imaging, our commitment goes beyond our mission in healthcare. It also means supporting meaningful local initiatives that make a difference. With this in mind, we have chosen to support Melyne Serpi, a young windsurfer from La Ciotat, in developing her sporting career and her association, MS WINSURF. Through this partnership, we aim to help grow a human, sporting and environmental project that is deeply rooted in our local community.
At just 17 years old, Melyne has already built an impressive track record on the national and international circuits. The 2025 season was notably marked by a third-place finish at the French Senior Championships and a fourth-place finish at the French Youth Championships. But beyond her sporting achievements, Melyne is pursuing a broader ambition: sharing her passion, passing on the values of sport, and encouraging younger generations to take up water sports.
MS WINSURF: a project focused on sport and passing on values
Created by Melyne to support her sporting development, the MS WINSURF association is much more than simply a means of supporting her career. It reflects her desire to build a structured project around windsurfing and the values it conveys.
The association has several ambitions:
- Supporting Melyne in her sporting development, from training sessions to travel for competitions;
- Enabling her to access the equipment and facilities she needs to develop her skills;
- Promoting water sports among young people in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region;
- Raising awareness of the importance of protecting the marine environment and coastline, which are at the heart of her sport.
Through MS WINSURF, Melyne aims to share what sport brings her every day: perseverance, pushing beyond her limits, discipline, and the enjoyment of making progress.
A sport closely connected to nature
Practiced in the open sea, windsurfing has a unique connection with its environment. Wind, the sea and natural conditions are at the heart of the discipline, serving as a daily reminder of the importance of protecting the spaces in which it takes place.
Through her association, Melyne also aims to raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of protecting the coastline and marine ecosystems, particularly around the Bay of La Ciotat.
Because human activities and nature conservation should be able to coexist and evolve together, supporting projects that highlight this connection between sport and the environment strongly resonates with Delmont imaging’s commitments.
