At Delmont Imaging, Technology Serving Humanity
At Delmont Imaging, we believe that technology and innovation should serve not only health, but also human rights and social justice. That’s why we want to highlight the NEGAR association: Supporting Women in Afghanistan, which defends women’s rights and promotes girls’ education in an extremely fragile political and social context.
Axis 1: Defending Women’s Rights and Education
Founded in 1996 by Shoukria Haidar and Chantal Véron, NEGAR works to protect the rights of Afghan women in the face of restrictions on freedom imposed since the Taliban seized power. The association supports the education of girls and women by mobilizing solidarity networks and intervening directly on the ground. It also creates spaces where Afghan women can express themselves, receive training, and make their voices heard in national and international debates. One of its recent initiatives, “Unleash Knowledge!”, perfectly illustrates this mission. This campaign aims to provide Afghan teachers with the means to continue educating girls through secure networks, despite censorship and obstacles to girls’ education. It demonstrates how education remains a powerful tool for resistance and empowerment.
Axis 2: A Commitment Beyond Borders
At Delmont imaging, we support NEGAR because we believe that every woman deserves to be heard and educated, and that human dignity and the right to education are fundamental values. The fight for equality and freedom knows no borders. By supporting NEGAR, we affirm our global solidarity and help amplify the organization’s voice, increase its visibility, and reach new partners and donors. Our commitment also shows that technology, health, and inclusion can go hand in hand, by supporting causes that extend beyond our professional lives.
